It’s time to get to know the small and sleepy island that you surely caught a glimpse of on your way from the mainland to Ischia.

We depart by hydrofoil from Casamicciola to reach Marina Grande of Procida, the main port of the island.

There, taxis await us to take us to the high and ancient area of “Terra Murata,” where the former prison is located. We will visit the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo and the beautiful terraces from which we will enjoy a stunning panorama of the entire Gulf of Naples.

Next, after walking for about 10 minutes, we reach a viewpoint to admire “la Corricella,” the picturesque fishing port, where part of the film “The Postman” by Troisi was shot. We then walk across the fishing port (pedestrian area) after climbing a flight of stairs.

On board the taxis, we will take a scenic tour of the island, becoming familiar with its typical architecture featuring splendid lemon groves and black tuff beaches. We will make a mandatory stop for an unforgettable photo at “Pizzaco,” with a breathtaking view that includes the already visited Terra Murata, Capo Miseno, Capo Posillipo, and Mount Vesuvius. We will visit a splendid lemon grove where each participant in the trip will receive a lemon as a gift, symbolizing this small and beautiful Mediterranean island. We will return to the main port of Marina Grande, where we will take a lunch break with a unique dish featuring various specialties, dessert, water, and wine.

After lunch, there will be free time to admire the numerous fishing boats arriving and to photograph the splendid catch still flapping. Finally, we will take the hydrofoil back at 5:05 PM to return to Ischia.
